Perizaad studied in New York City and upon acquiring an MBA returned to India to assist her father in his poultry farm business. Once back in India, she was spotted at a wedding by a socialite and a friend, who presented her to the world of modeling and glamour[1].

Zorabian is a Zoroastrian by religion, and Irani by ethnicity. She married construction tycoon Boman Rustom Irani (not to be confused with the actor Boman Irani) on December 9, 2006. Boman is currently facing many charges under the Indian Penal Code for assault and Attempting murder against his very own family members during January 2006 at their Dahisar Farm.

She also made international headlines when she declined a role in a lesbian-centered film, citing her “own personal inhibitions about playing a lesbian” as the driving force behind her decision[2]. Purva Bedi has since accepted the role in When Kiran Met Karen [3]. Her name translates to ‘daughter of a fairy’.
