Nagesh Kukunoor is ready with his next film Aashyein, the title of which is inspired from the popular song in his own brilliant film, Iqbal.

The director hopes to rectify his last film, Bombay To Bangkok with Aashayein, starring John Abraham and television actress, Sonal Sehgal. The cast also includes Vikram Inamdar, Sonali Sachdev, Farida Jalal, Girish Karnad and the Chak De! India girl, Anahita Nair.

Aashayein was shot on locations in Pondicherry and Hyderabad, India. John Abraham had to lose 16 kilos for the movie. Aashayein is a story of a gambling addict who discovers new meanings of fortune and life through a dramatic turn of events. Aashayein is a tale of Rahul’s journey from darkness to light. A journey about love, hate, life, death and above all hope.
