Bollywood actress Tanisha Mukharjee is making her debut in Telugu. She has signed NTR starrer Kantri. The film has Hansika Motwani as the female lead while Tanisha steps in as the second lead opposite NTR. First it was Jiah Khan, then Riya Sen but now Tanisha Mukharjee is confirmed as the second heroine in NTR Kantri movie. Tanisha is a Bollywood actress who acted in movies like Neil n Nikki and she is also the sister of famous hindi actresses Kajol. Tanisha is better known for her dare bare attitude. Tanisha Mukerji also acted in a tamil movie which was later dubbed into telugu as Nee valle Nee valle.

The film is being made under the Vyjayanti Banner by C Aswini Dutt and the music is by Mani Sarma. Two songs have already been shot, and four more will be picturised soon. The film is being readied for summer release.
