Filmfare Awards South are the oldest and most prominent film awards given for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films in India. They are given annually to honour the best talents and provide encouragement and incentive to the South Indian film industry. The 55th Tiger Balm Filmfare Awards for South India were presented at Chennai on July 12, with Sun TV as official television partner, Radio Mirchi Chennai as official radio partner. Tiger Balm is the title partner for this event.

Tabu superb naval show in upcoming mythological venture ‘Pandurangadu’ with Nandamuri Balakrishna playing dual roles, which’s being directed by K Raghavedra Rao. The film is being made with an inspiration from Panduranga Mahatyam of the late NTR. Balakrishna is playing the roles of God and devotee on his own.
The duo had worked together earlier for Chennakesava Reddy, which was a big hit. Tabu sure goes back a long way with K Raghavendra Rao as it was him who introduced her as an actress with Coolie No1 which was directed by the veteran director.
