Billo Barber is an upcoming Bollywood film starring Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta in the lead roles, and Shahrukh Khan for the first time in a supporting role.
Comedy flick Billoo Barber is Shah Rukh Khan’s first film with director Priyadarshan. This will also be the first time that Shah Rukh will star with Irrfan Khan. Shah Rukh paired opposite three top flight Indian actresses, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.
The story is set in today’s day and age. Billo (Irrfan Khan) plays a village barber. His business is running low because he has not been able to upgrade himself according to the changing trends.
One fine day, a film unit visits his village to shoot a movie. It stars a superstar Sahir Khan(Shahrukh Khan), who was once Billo’s school friend. All at once, Billo’s status in the village changes, and he becomes highly respected. Everyone wants him to meet the superstar. But Billo is unsure, as he feels he cannot compare to the superstar’s status. Besides, he fears that the star may not recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the star but fails. After all these hardships, he gives up. But people think that he lied about the relationship with the star and start insulting him. His family and children also gets upset.
The latest buzz in tinsel town is that Priyanka Chopra is almost on the verge of replacing Deepika Padukone in the ad world. Insiders say that International Cosmetic Giant ‘Maybelline’ is not too excited with the little buzz that the brand has been able to generate in India, and are now contemplating their brand ambassador Deepika.

Dostana is a forthcoming Bollywood film starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. It is directed by Karan Johar’s assistant, Tarun Mansukhani. The film began filming in Miami, Florida in March 2008, and is the first Bollywood film to be set entirely in Miami.
Finally, the wallpapers of Dostana produced under Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions and directed by Tarun Mansukhani was unveiled. Dostana is all set for a November 14th release.
